Tuesday, September 6, 6:00 pm: Color Me Calm
Color Me Calm is a relaxing time of adult coloring. Please join us the first Tuesday of every month to color and chat with a great group of people! You can also bring your own crafting projects to work on instead of coloring.
Saturday, September 10, 10:00 am: Family Storytime
Family Storytime is the perfect Saturday morning activity for the whole family! Join us in the Children's Library once a month for a half-hour to an hour of stories, songs and crafts.
Thursday, September 15, 6:00 pm: Tabletop Roleplaying
Please join us for our next session of collaborative storytelling! Each player describes the actions of their character during the game. There is no experience necessary to join, and you can choose from one of our pre-designed characters or come early at 5:30 to create your own. Ages 14+.
Saturday, September 17, 10:00 am: Cuentos Para Niños Bilingual Storytime
Please join us for our bilingual storytime every month! We'll be reading stories and singing songs in both English and Spanish. This is a family storytime for all ages.
Monday, September 19, 3:00 pm & 5:00 pm: Talk Like a Pirate Day Movie Double Feature
Ahoy, me hearties! Batten down yer hatches and sail on down t'the library fer a movie double feature celebrating t' annual Talk Like a Pirate Day! At 3 pm, "The Pirate Fairy" be playin' in the Children's Library and at 5 pm, t'the Main Library we'll be headin' fer "Pirates of the Caribbean, The Curse of the Black Pearl".
Tuesday, September 20, 4:00 pm: Crafternoon
Join us to celebrate the return of autumn by making fall button trees! Ages 12+.
Thursday, September 22, 2:00 pm: Fireside Book Discussion
Join us this month to discuss the book “My Sister’s Grave” by Robert Dugoni. Please stop by the circulation desk to reserve a copy.
Wednesdays, 10:00 am: My First Storytime
Join us for My First Storytime every Wednesday at 10:00 am in the Children's Library! This is a fun half-hour to hour of stories, songs, rhymes and crafts aimed at children ages 1-3, but older or younger siblings are always welcome to attend as well.
