IGHSAU releases regional wrestling assignments
The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union has released regional wrestling assignments. The competition is broken down into four regions with two regions being contested at two different sites. Region 1 and 2 will compete at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City. Region 3 and 4 will compete at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines. Regional competition will be held on Friday, January 27th starting at 11:00 a.m. that day.
Region 1: AHSTW, Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley, C-L/GLR, Clarinda, Council Bluffs Coop, Denison-Schleswig, Eagle Grove, Fort Dodge, Glenwood, Humboldt, Lewis Central, Logan-Magnolia, Manson NW Webster, Okoboji/HMS, Pocahontas Area, Sergeant Bluff-Luton, Sheldon/South O’Brien, Sioux Center, SWAT, Treynor, Underwood.
Region 2: Audubon, Carroll, East Sac County, Emmetsburg, GTRA, Kuemper Catholic, LeMars, Missouri Valley, MOC-Floyd Valley, Red Oak, Ridge View, Riverside, Shenandoah, Sioux Central, Sioux City East, Sioux City North, South Central Calhoun, Southwest Iowa, Spencer, Spirit Lake Park, West Lyon, Western Christian, Western Iowa.
Region 3: Albia, Ankeny, Ballard, BGM, Cedar Falls, Centerville, Clarke/Murray, Creston, Dallas Center-Grimes, Des Moines Public Schools, Indianola, I-35, Marshalltown, Moravia, Newton, North Mahaska, North Tama, Norwalk, Oskaloosa, Pleasantville, Southeast Warren/Melcher-Dallas, Southern Tier, West Marshall, Williamsburg.
