The IHSAA and the IGHSAU have released the 2021 Cross Country State Qualifying Meet assignments. With adjusted dates for postseason cross country, Class 4A and Class 3A meets will begin at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20. Class 2A and Class 1A meets will begin at 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 21.

The state meet in Fort Dodge has also been split over two days, with 4A and 3A racing on Friday, October 29, followed by 2A and 1A races on Saturday, October 30.

In Class 3A

Denison-Schleswig will run at LeMars. Other teams at that site are Algona, BHRV, Bishop Heelan, Glenwood, Humboldt, LeMars, MOC-Floyd Valley, Sergeant Bluff-Luton, Sioux Center, Spencer, Spirit Lake Park (Girls Only), Storm Lake

Harlan will run at Winterset. Other teams at that site are ADM, Boone, Clarke, Creston, Dallas Center-Grimes, Atlantic, Kuemper Catholic, North Polk, Perry, Saydel, Webster City, and Winterset.

In Class 2A area teams will be running at Southeast Valley. Teams at that site include: Clarinda, Clear Lake, Des Moines Christian, East Sac County, GCGR, Greene County, Pocahontas Area, Red Oak, Shenandoah, South Central Calhoun, Southeast Valley, Treynor, Underwood, Van Meter, Woodward-Granger.

At Unity Christian, Orange City. Teams at that site include: OABCIG, MVAOCOU, Cherokee, Emmetsburg, Esterville Lincoln Central, GLR-CL, Okoboji, Sheldon, Sibley-Ocheyedan, Spirit Lake (Boys Only), Unity Christian, WC-KP, West Lyon, West Sioux, Western Christian.

In Class 1A most area teams will be running at Panorama and Southwest Valley. At Panora teams running will be ACGC, AHSTW, Audubon, Boyer Valley, CAM, Coon Rapids-Bayard, Exira-EHK, IKM-Manning, Logan-Magnolia, Madrid, Nodaway Valley, Ogden, Orient-Macksburg, Panorama, South Hamilton, West Harrison, West Monona, Whiting, Woodward Academy.

Area Teams that will be running at Ridge View include Woodbine, Westwood, Ridge View, Missouri Valley.

At Corning teams will be: Bedford, Central Decatur, Diagonal, East Mills, East Union, Essex, Fremont-Mills, Griswold, Heartland Christian, Iowa School for the Deaf, Lamoni, Lenox, Mount Ayr, Riverside, Sidney, Southwest Valley, St. Albert, Stanton, Tri-Center.

2 area Class 4A schools will run at Indianola: CB Abraham Lincoln and CB Thomas Jefferson. Lewis Central will run at Ankeny.
