3 at Denison High School test positive for COVID19

Yesterday, the Denison Community School District alerted parents and staff that they were notified yesterday of three individuals at Denison High School who have tested positive for COVID19. The school will work with families to help make sure students who are absent have access to learning when they aren’t able to attend school. The school district is using CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting.

 

The district will continue to monitor positive cases in the area in conjunction with the Iowa Department of Public Health and Crawford County Public Health. The district will also be communicating with families and employees if any adjustments will need to be made to their learning plans in the days and weeks ahead.

 

No other details of the positive cases are available at this time.
