Manning woman pleads not guilty to theft
30-year-old Jean Paulos of Manning, who was accused of writing at least 20 bad checks totaling more than $750 to Casey's General Store in Manning from November 18 to December 10 of 2019, has entered a not guilty plea to the charge of third-degree theft. Paulos' jury trial is scheduled for October 20th with a pretrial conference set for October 8th. If found guilty Paulos could face up to two years in prison and $6,250 in fines.
