Sac County Engineers announce 255th St closure for construction
The Sac County Engineers Office announced Tuesday that part of 255th Street will be closed for construction early next month. The shut down of a 5.19-mile stretch between Union Avenue and Zeller Avenue begins at 7 a.m. Monday, August 2 for the PCC Overlay Paving of the roadway. A posted detour will be in place to route thru traffic through the area. The road will remain open to local traffic, according to the release, and the timetable to finish the project depends on the weather conditions. The office is asking that people remember to use extra caution when driving in or near the construction project.
