Ar-We-Va seeks morning and afternoon van drivers
Ar-We-Va Community School is in need of drivers for a morning and afternoon 12 passenger van route. The pay for each route is $17.25 with hours approximately 6:30-7:30 am & 3:30-4:30 pm during days where schools are in session. Benefits may include sick, personal, holiday, bereavement leave, and IPERS.
The individual must receive their chauffeur license and then has up to 6 months to complete a 14-hour online class followed by an online test administered at the school and then a 3- hour new driver STOP class held at DMACC in Ankeny. The district will pay an hourly rate to complete the online and STOP classes. A DOT physical as well as a drug and alcohol test is required before employment.
