Denison Police report Monday traffic accident on South 20th
The Denison Police Department is reporting that a motor vehicle accident happened just after 3:30 p.m. Monday near 2nd Avenue South and South 20th Street.
A 1999 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 33-year-old Ashley Green of Deloit and 83-year-old Robert Neuhaus of Denison were both traveling north on 20th. He also had 80-year-old Neverly Neuhaus riding as a passenger in his 2002 Ford F-150 Supercrew. Robert Neuhaus slowed and Green rear-ended him. Both occupants of the Ford reported some back and neck pain but declined medical attention and told police they would have it checked out later. Green reported no injury but was cited for following too closely. The damage estimates include $7,000 for the Ford and $2,000 for the Chevy.
