Trial date set for Audubon man accused of Manning break-in
The Carroll County District Court trial for an Audubon man charged in a Manning break-in during July is scheduled for October. Court records show that 25-year-old Zeth Lee Petersen filed not guilty pleas to six felony counts. His trial is set to begin on Tuesday, Oct. 19th with a pretrial conference on Thursday, Oct. 14th. Petersen is accused of entering the Manning Service Center during the early morning hours of July 23rd. He allegedly stole tools and a vehicle along with damaging the interior of the business. Petersen faces a combined maximum penalty of up to 35 years in prison and nearly $50,000 in fines if he is found guilty of all charges.
