DVFD responds to Sunday junk fire call

The Denison Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call about a junk fire at approximately 2:24 p.m. Sunday on 1st Avenue North. The homeowner reportedly extinguished the blaze shortly after the call went out. Fire trucks returned to the station before reaching the scene.
