Denison PD reports 2 arrests, slashed tire, vehicle hitting house
The Denison Police Department is reporting four incidents since Wednesday.
The most recent public release states that police arrested Samuel Pullen of Denison at approximately 8:26 p.m. Thursday near the 100 block of North 16th Street. They took the 23-year-old male into custody on an active Crawford County warrant.
Denison PD arrested Jeremy Ness of Denison at around 10:30 p.m. Thursday near Chamberlain Drive South. They booked the 31-year-old male for domestic abuse assault.
A Denison resident reported Wednesday that her tire was slashed on North 10th Street near Hilldale Estates. The initial charge for an arrested suspect in the case would be fifth-degree criminal mischief.
All charges are allegations and the persons named in a case are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
A motor vehicle accident reportedly took place just before 4 p.m. Wednesday near 3rd Avenue South. The related document indicates that a 2003 Ford Escape was being moved and the driver forgot to put the vehicle in park. The Escape rolled down the hill and struck a house located on the 1200 block of 3rd Avenue South. No one inside the house was injured. No citations were issued. The severe impact totaled the Escape and repair costs for the house are estimated at $8,500.
