East Sac County has a pair of school board openings up for election
East Sac County Community School District is among the Iowa districts that will hold school board elections on November 2. East Sac County has two positions open for election this year. The school district recommends the Iowa Association of School Boards as a good reference for election materials.
Candidate filing is already open as of Monday, August 23rd and it closes at 5 p.m. on Thursday, September 16th. The candidate withdrawal deadline is set for 5 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21st. That will be the last day for candidates to withdraw by filing a written request with the school secretary. Election day is Tuesday, November 2nd with the polls open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
