DVFD investigates natural gas smell near Denison Inn & Suites
The Denison Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call about a natural gas smell at Denison Inn and Suites at approximately 12:37 p.m. Wednesday. A preliminary investigation revealed that a company in the immediate area at the time of the call was smoke testing the city sewers at the same time. A further investigation detected no gas but a dry floor drain was discovered in the inn. It was determined that let the test smoke into the building. D.V.F.D. spent about an hour on the scene.
