2021 Denison City Council and School Board Public Forum
Denison, IA – The Donna Reed Theatre will host the 2021 Denison City Council and School Board Public Forum this Thursday, Oct. 28th.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with the public forum running from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. All candidates for Denison City Council and the Denison Community School District School Board will be in attendance. Co-Moderators for the public forum will be Robert Lyons and Dana Ingerslev.
Some initial questions will be prepared for all candidates and attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions at the door from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. Questions from the audience will be randomly selected but must be policy-based and not personal attacks. Those who submit questions must be a resident of Denison, Iowa, or live within the boundaries of the Denison Community School District. Due to time constraints, there is no guarantee that all questions will be asked. Candidates will be allowed two-minute opening remarks and one-minute closing remarks.
