Crawford County suffers fourth Covid19 death, other area statistics
Crawford County recorded another COVID-19-related death Saturday.A total of four Crawford County residents have fallen to the virus. Crawford County's case total stands at 909 as of this morning with 752 recoveries, according to the Iowa Department of Public Health.
Other nearby county virus statistics are as follows: Audubon County has 1 death with 46 positive cases and 29 recoveries. Carroll County has saw 554 positive cases but also saw 240 recoveries with a handful of deaths. Greene County has no deaths, they have had 71 people test positive for the virus and 43 people recover since. Harrison County is now at two deaths, 162 total positive cases and 142 recoveries. Ida County is another nearby county with zero deaths, they have 70 positive cases and 34 recoveries. Monona County has 116 total positive cases with 93 of them having reached recovery, and just one death. Shelby County has one death, 234 people have tested positive but 222 have already recovered.
