Both Senate District 6 candidates active on campaign trail, C.J. Peterson announces initiative

As election season heats up, so is the area race in Senate District 6 between Republican candidate Craig Williams and Democratic Candidate, C.J. Peterson.The district occupies Sac, Audubon, Carroll, Buena Vista, and eastern Crawford County. Both candidates have been active in their campaign lately. The Democratic nominee, Peterson, released a “homecomers initiative” yesterday, which outlines what he believes to be a plan for success for rural businesses and entrepreneurs. The republican candidate in the race, Craig Williams, spoke at an event in Lake View hosted by the Sac County Republicans and was also at a watch party for Monday's Senator Debate between Joni Ernst and Theresa Greenfield. Also at the watch was Tom Cotton, a U.S. Senator, who let reporters know they can expect him in Iowa soon to campaign for Joni Ernst in the near future.
