Shelby County Police report
Last week, a couple of area residents were arrested in Shelby County.
On Tuesday, January 26th, 45-year-old Rick Erwin, of Woodbine was arrested following a traffic stop. He was transported to the Shelby County Jail where he was charged with driving while barred and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Friday, 60-year-old Brenda Mercil of Denison was arrested on an active Pottawattamie County warrant following a traffic stop.
