Crawford County Public Health States Limit Amount of COVID Vaccines
The Crawford County Public Health has issued an update stating there are limited numbers of COVID Vaccines available.
In their update, Crawford County Public Health states, all medical clinics in Crawford County have limited amounts of COVID vaccines for patients age 65 and older. Residents are told not to call the clinics but go online to schedule an appointment. Residents can go to www.crawfordountyhealth.com to access the link for scheduling. If the site says “no appointments available,” all spots are filled, and residents will need to check back to the site frequently. Crawford County Public Health asks for citizens to be patient as the supply of the vaccine does not meet the demand. CCMH clinics will begin scheduling appointments on February 8th. Other county clinics including Denison Family Health Center, St. Anthony in Denison, and St. Anthony in Westside will be calling patients to schedule vaccinations. Seniors without internet or computer access can call the Public Health Office. Select option 1 to leave a message, and they will return the call to acknowledge they’ve received the information. Again, due to the limited amounts of the vaccine, patience with the vaccination process and health protocols will still need to be followed.
