Area Resident Police Reports
On Friday, a man from Spencer was charged with felonies in Carroll County’s District Court.
23-year-old Andrew Adams, formerly of Wall Lake, was stopped by the Carroll Police Department in the early morning on May 10th. During the stop, Adams had possession of narcotics, and police charged him with two counts of third-offense possession of a controlled substance. Items found believed to be methamphetamine, marijuana, and Xanax. The materials were tested by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation Laboratory, and results returned positive. Adams’ arraignment hearing is scheduled for Thursday, February 25th. Each of the Class D Felonies has a max penalty of up to five years in prison with $7500 in fines.
Denison Police Department issued an incident report yesterday afternoon. The Report states the Denison Police Department arrested 19-year-old Damian Robles, of Norfolk, NE, for Public Intoxication around 2:45 pm outside on N. 18th St.
