Sac County Couple Named to State Farm Bureau Young Farmer Leadership Team
Sac County’s own Tim Cohoon has been selected as one of the Public Relations Co-Chairs for the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation Young Farmer Advisory Committee for 2025-26. Cohoon will serve alongside fellow PR Co-Chair Ashley McEnany of Story County as part of the committee’s executive leadership team.
Tim and his wife, Nicole, are actively involved in agriculture and Farm Bureau leadership at both the local and state levels. The couple farms corn and soybeans and raises cattle alongside Nicole’s father and two brothers. In addition to his farming operation, Tim owns and operates a branding and digital marketing agency. Both Tim and Nicole have participated in numerous Iowa Farm Bureau ag insight tours and policy trips, and they’ve competed together in the Young Farmer Conference Discussion Meet.
The Young Farmer Advisory Committee helps organize the annual Iowa Farm Bureau Young Farmer Conference, which draws around 500 attendees from across the state for educational sessions and networking opportunities. The committee also plays a key role in hosting local events aimed at supporting young farmers and engaging their communities.
Cohoon’s appointment highlights the leadership coming from Sac County and the commitment of local farm families to shaping the future of agriculture in Iowa.
