Drug Arrest Made in Arion
Yesterday, August 11th, as a result of an ongoing investigation with the Crawford County Sheiff's Office and the Denison Police Department, a search warrant was executed on Western Street in Arion. In a search of the residence, a large amount of controlled substances believed to be methamphetamine was located as well as $7,960 usd and numerous items of drug paraphanelia.
42 year old Joseph Gordon of Sioux City, 34 year old Kaysha Lyman of Arion, and 20 year old Sayde Hein who is from Perry, were arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver more than 5 grams of methamphetamine which is a class B felony, failure to affix a drug tax stamp which is a class D felony, and possession of drug paraphanelia which is a simple misdemeanor. Hein also had outstanding arrest warrants from Polk and Dallas counties.
The Crawford County Sheriff's Office and Denison Police Department were assisted at the search warrant by the Sac County Sheriff's Office and the Dunlap Police Department.
All charges are allegations and the people in this case are to be considered innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
