One dead, three injured in Saturday head-on collision
The Iowa State Patrol reported that a Cherokee woman died and three Denison residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Crawford County on Saturday. The accident happened shortly before 7:30 a.m. Saturday just south of 25th Avenue on Highway 59. A 2018 Toyota Camry driven by 39-year-old Corina Campa of Denison was traveling south on Highway 59. A 2017 Nissan Sentra piloted by 30-year-old Theresa Denery of Cherokee was traveling north on the highway. The report indicates that Denery crossed the center line and struck Campa's vehicle head-on.
