The Crawford County Public Health will be holding Immunization Clinics on Monday, Feb. 6th from 1-5, Tuesday, Feb 7th from 2-5:30 and Thursday Feb. 16th from 10-2 at the Crawford County Public Health Office at 105 N. Main. St. in Denison. These are Walk In Clinics with no appointments needed.
DENISON COMMUNITY BLOOD DRIVE

DENISON SWIM TEAM FUNDRAISER
The Denison Swim Team will be selling Roses for Valentine's Day. The cost is $24.99 for a dozen wrapped roses w/ greens and filler. The color options are red, pink, white, yellow, lime green or purple. Roses will be provided by HyVee. Orders must be placed and paid by Tuesday, Feb. 7th at the Denison Aquatic Fun Center the number is 263-8130. The money is going towards a timing system and touch pads. You can pick up your order at the Denison Aquatic Fun Center on Monday, Feb. 13th during the hours of 9-7.
AFTER PROM CHICKEN DINNER FUNDRAISER
After Prom Chicken Dinner Fundraiser catered by Staley's will be on Thursday, Feb. 9th, being held at the Denison Armory, serving from 5-7:30. The cost for adults is $10, kids 4-12 is $5 and 3 & under are free. Take out will be available.

SOUP SUPPER BENEFIT
There will be a Soup Supper Benefit in the Denison High School cafeteria before the boys basketball ball game against Carroll on Feb. 14th from 5-7:30. There will be chicken noodle soup and chili served, along with cheese sandwiches and dessert. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students, ages 5 and under free. All proceeds will go to Melanie Pullen and her family for her ongoing cancer treatment, so please come out and show your support.

Denison Elementary School is asking parents of children born between
September 16, 2006 and September 15, 2007 to call the school at 712-263-3104
between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to record their child’s name,
date of birth, parent names, current address, and current phone number.
This information will be used for a listing of five and six year olds for
the 2012 kindergarten class.

Regular summer hours - June and July on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 and September and October on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4. The house will be closed during August. The Admission is $3 for adults and 50 cents for children under 14 years of age. The McHenry House is located at the corner of 15th St. and First Ave. North.

Child Health Clinic: Child Health provides a variety of medical services based on the child's age and needs. Services may include physical examinations, immunizations, vision testing, doctor and dental referrals, nutritional and family counseling. Clinics will be held at the Methodist Church in Denison. You must have an appointment.
Family Planning Clinic: Family Planning offers birth control, pregnancy tests, physical exams, cancer screenings, pap smears, breast exams, blood pressure, anemia screenings, tests and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases. confidential HIV screening and counseling by appointment. Proof of U.S. Citizenship , proof of identity and proof of one full month's income, (check stubs for the entire month) is required. Family Planning Supply Pickup: 2:00 - 4:00 pm on Wednesdays and 2:00- 4:00 on Fridays at the Public Health Office, 105 N. main St. in Denison. You must make an appointment for anything other than these times.
Immunization Clinics: These are walk-in clinics with no appointment needed. Please bring child's social security number, all immunization records and Title 19 card (if applicable) If your insurance covers immunizations, including hawk- i Ins. , please take your child to your family physician.
Iowa Breast & Cancer Early Detection-Care for Yourself Program: A special service for women age 40 -64. You may be eligible to receive a variety of health examinations at no cost to you if you have no health insurance, a policy that does not cover these services, or you cannot pay your deductible or co-insurance.
Senior Health Clinic: This is a clinic for individuals 60 years and older. Physical examination includes cholesterol, blood sugar, hemoglobin and blood pressure screening. Tetanus booster will be available.
