2024 State Bowling Individual Results

A big day for the Moanrchs bowling team in Waterloo at the state tournament as two individulas closed out their season on high notes. In qualifying matches, Senior Brittany Musgrave finished 16th with a 556 total score (233, 163, 160) while her sister Brianna Musgrave qualified for bracket play, finishing 5th with a 618 total score (235, 135, 248). Senior Jake Fink finished 7th with a total score of 662 (225, 235, 202) which advanced him into bracket play.

In bracket play, Brianna Musgrave advanced into the finals with a quarterfinal win 203-178, and winning in the semifinals 213-191. Musgrave would finish second in the tournament falling in the finals to Keokuk's Jaelynn Ketterer 205-179.

In boys tournamnet play Jake Fink also made it to the finals with a tight quarterfinal victory 231-229 and much the same in the semifinals with a 238-234 win. In the finals, Fink would finish 2nd falling to Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson's Kendall Bell 176-203.

An immense congratulations to all of our Monarch bowlers that qualified and to Jake Fink and Brianna Musgrave bringing home second place medals!

Boys as a team will be competeing on Wednesday in Waterloo.
