The Bacon Buddies Deadline Is Quickly Approaching
Bacon Buddies is an opportunity for individuals who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to take a pig to a fair’s show ring. Those individuals are called buddies. Buddies are given a mentor who has volunteered to share that show ring experience right along with them. Mentors include 4-H and FFA youth. The Crawford County Bacon Buddies show will be on Saturday, July 22nd at 6:30 pm at the Crawford County Fair Grounds Show Ring. If anybody is interested in being a mentor or buddy, the deadline is Monday, June 19th.
