Lucky Lanes See Major Renovations To Facility As Bowling Leagues Begin

Lucky Lanes in Denison has gone through quite the revamping over the past year. Jennifer Totten with Lucky Lanes discusses some of the changes made to the facility. “This summer we are tossing a bunch of stuff from the hallway so we are able to store food back there. We’re working on the kitchen, and that’s the next big thing is adding a fryer so that we can have fried foods and expand our menu. And then in October, we will be getting new synthetic lanes.” Totten also said bowling leagues will start this week. “Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday leagues start for adults. Tuesday you have a mixed league, three-person league. And Wednesday is a three-person women’s league, and then Friday is a four-person mixed league.” Totten went on to explain how members of the community can sign up. “They can either message the Facebook page. If they know someone in bowling they can contact them to get ahold of the league secretary or president. Or they can just stop down. And you don’t have to have a team. You can be one person, two people, come down and we can either find you a team or if needed we can use you as a sub.” KDSN News will have more information coming next month on youth bowling leagues at Lucky Lanes.
