Boots VS. Badges Smack Talk!
The second annual Boots Vs. Badges Appreciation Event will take place on Saturday, October 14th, from noon to 2:00 pm at Yellow Smoke in Denison. The Denison Volunteer Fire Department and Denison Police Department will be competing in a Cornhole tournament. The public is invited to come check out cool vehicles, meet the community's local heroes, and have a pork burger provided by the Pork Producers. The burgers are part of a Free Will Donation, with half of the donations going to the winner of the Cornhole tournament and the other half to the Crawford County Swine Barn. Both the Denison Volunteer Fire Department and the Denison Police Department have decided the proceeds raised from this tournament will go towards the Washington Park playground.
