Denison Mayor Pam Soseman Looking at Two Different Potential Initiatives Moving Forward in Regards to New Immigrant Families and Homelessness

Denison Mayor Pam Soseman Looking at Two Different Potential Initiatives Moving Forward in Regards to New Immigrant Families and Homelessness

Denison Mayor Pam Soseman has recently been looking at two issues in the City of Denison, the first being how to better welcome new immigrant families when it comes to factors such as language barriers, cultural barriers, and differences in law.  A resolution will go to the City Council at the next meeting ( December 19th) in hopes of establishing a Welcoming Committee to start strategizing and planning ways the City can better integrate new families.

Soseman also hopes to reach out to various organizations in the area to find a way to raise funds and establish methods for helping to tackle homelessness in the area especially as the temperatures continue to drop in Winter.  To see our full interview with Soseman, see below.
