Carroll County Conservation Calendar of Events
Wednesday June 3 — OWLS (Older Wiser Learning Seniors) Lunch and Learn will begin at noon in the Wapiti Classroom at Swan Lake State Park. The program topic is Iowa Canines.
Saturday June 6 — Cops and Bobbers Fishing Clinic will begin at 10 a.m. at the Fish House. Registration is required.
Saturday June 6 — Family Volunteer Day will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at Great Western Park.
Sunday June 14 — Campfire Cooking: Campfire Nachos will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the Swan Lake Education Center. Registration is required.
Friday June 19 — Friday Night with Friends will begin at 5 p.m. around the Swan Lake State Park campground and amphitheater. A free amphitheater program, “Creatures of the Night,” will begin at 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket.
Saturday June 20 — The Pella Summer Concert Series featuring Opus Taylor will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. A freewill donation meal will be available.
Saturday June 20 — Family Volunteer Day will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at North Tigges.
