Susan “Sue” Marie Roeder
Susan “Sue” Marie Roeder, age 61, of Odebolt, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4th, surrounded by her daughters, at the UnityPoint- Health St. Lukes Hospital in Sioux City.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 16, in the St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Odebolt, with Rev. Deacon Butch Stone officiating.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service at 5:45 p.m., on Monday, December 15, in the St. Martin’s Catholic Church of Odebolt.
Sue is survived by her husband Paul; daughters MaKayla (Alan) Kies of Nevada, and Paige (Jacob) Luft of Ankeny; two grandchildren; mother Claire Pudenz of Carroll; brother Mike (Patricia “Patty”) Pudenz of Carroll; brother- in-law Dean (Dawn) Roeder; extended family and a host of friends.

Funeral Service for 71-year-old Robert Mahlberg of Soldier will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6th, at Soldier Lutheran Church in Soldier. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.~ 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church prior to the service.
Mr. Mahlberg passed at Burgess Hospital in Onawa, on November 24th.

Mass of Christian Burial for 65-year-old Kenneth “Narv” Schwery will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 25th, at St Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Panama. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Panama. Visitation will be from 4:00 ~ 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the St. Mary’s Parish Hall with a rosary at 4:00 p.m.
Narv died on November 21st.

A Funeral Mass for 70 year old Glenn Halbur, of Denison, and formerly of Halbur, will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2025 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Halbur. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery in Halbur with military honors conducted by the Arcadia American Legion.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll with a Christian Wake Service at 7 p.m. Additional visitation will be from 9-9:45 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Glenn died Monday, November 17, 2025 at Creighton University – Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll.

Lillian passed away peacefully on Friday, November 14th, at Twilight Acres Nursing Home in Wall Lake.

Rev. Neil Wehmas will officiate. Committal Services will be held at a later date in Mt. Hope Cemetery of Battle Creek, Iowa.

Pearl passed away on Saturday, November 8th at Golden Horizons Assisted Living of Ida Grove.
