Private Graveside Service for 88-year-old Barbara Haley will be held in the Oakland Cemetery in Denison. Barbara passed away on Wednesday, January 11.

LoAnna Mae Meiers, age 73, of Carroll, passed away on Sunday, January 8th at the St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll. 

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, January 14, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Carroll. Burial will be in the Carroll City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll from 5 – 7 P.M. on Friday, January 13.  The casket will be moved to St. Paul Lutheran Church at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday where visitation will resume until 10:15 A.M. prior to the service. 

LoAnna is survived by her husband Don; daughter Candrice “Candi” Thul (Lauren Preston) of North Carolina; her son Troy Thul (Anna) of Minnesota; three grandchildren; Don’s children and their families: Sonia Bell (Keith) of Conyers, GA, and their children, Morgan Keck (Noah) of Solon, and their children, and Whitney Cavanaugh (Brandon) of Grimes, and their children;  siblings: brother Ronald Kline (Joann) of Virginia, sister Audrey Gorham of Dunlap, sister Vickie Bubke (Roger) of Carroll, sister Kathy Quandt (Richard) of Schleswig, brother Daniel Kline of Sutherland, brother Donald Kline (Toni) of Le Mars, sister Bonnie Schraeder (Lynn) of Woodbine, and brother Rick Shumate (Michelle) of South Dakota; her in-laws: Barbara Berndt (Chuck) of Missouri, Carol Cerny (Dean) of Nebraska, James Meiers (Karen) of Texas, and David Meiers (Sandy) of Carroll; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
