Phyllis Harms
A Memorial Service for 81-year-old Phyllis Harms of Denison will be held Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, at 10:30AM at the United Presbyterian Church in Denison, Iowa. A luncheon will be held following the memorial service in the fellowship hall.
Phyllis passed away on September 6, 2026, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa.
She is survived by her children, Gina (Dave) Landau of Tiffin, IA, Daniel (Kristen) Harms of Kansas City, MO, Jon (Kelly) Harms of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Mitchell Landau, Madelaine Frank, Grant Harms, Jared Harms, Bryce Harms, Alexander Harms, and Anne Harms; 3 great-grandchildren, Declan Oyarzun, Daisy Frank, and Jackson Frank; siblings, Dale (Diane) Origer of Kissimmee, FL, Vickie (Bill) Beck of Spirit Lake, IA, Gordon (Diane) Origer of Estherville, IA, Lance (Heidi) Origer of Estherville; sister-in-law, Karen Origer of New Port Richey, FL; many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Henry Klockgether, age 89, of Mapleton, passed away on Sunday, September 6th, at the Willow Dale Wellness Village of Battle Creek.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 14, at the St. Peter’s United Church of Christ of Mapleton. Eugene Tolstedt will officiate. Committal Services will follow in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery of Charter Oak. Military Rites will conducted by the Loren Hollister Post No. 496 of the American Legion of Mapleton.
A Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., on Monday, September 14th, at the St. Peter’s United Church of Christ of Mapleton.
Left to cherish his memory include his children Todd (Jill) Klockgether of Charter Oak, IA and Kim King (Doug Nepper) of Ute, IA; grandchildren Katelyn Klockgether (fiancé Riley Elwell) of Ute, IA and Brianna Klockgether of Charter Oak, IA; sister Viola Klockgether of Alaska; sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Sherry passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Iowa Methodist in Des Moines.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Edward Studebaker; and mother, Doris E. Eyestone and father, Paul L. Eyestone.
Those surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Michael Studebaker and his wife Julie of Carroll, IA; grandchildren, Dillon and Emma Studebaker; and other family and friends.
It was in Sherry's wishes to have a private graveside service at a later date.

Funeral service for 89-year-old Chuck Mitchell of Dunlap will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the United Methodist Church in Dunlap. Burial will be at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 ~ 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Fouts Funeral Home in Dunlap.
Mr. Mitchell died at the Crawford County Hospital in Denison, on August 22nd.

A funeral service for 73-year-old Gary Kral, of Vail, will be held on Friday August 21st at 2:00pm at the St Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Denison.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
A burial will be held following the service at the Carroll City Cemetery.
Gary is survived by cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

Don Uker
A memorial service for Don Uker of Denison will be held on August 16th at 3:30pm at the First United Methodist Church in Denison, followed by supper.
Military rites will be held at 2:30pm at the Crawford Heights Memory Gardens in Denison before the service.
Don died at peace on July 6, at home.
He is survived by his partner, Phyllis; daughters Kimberly and husband Michael Blunk and Kerry and husband John Philips; grandchildren Brittany Blunk, Collin Blunk, Maxwell Philips, Kinsey Philips, and Kate Philips; and great grandchildren Juniper Jensen, Bridger Blunk, Whitney Blunk, and Harrison Philips.
