Charlotte J. Nichols
Charlotte J. Nichols, age 87, of Ida Grove, Iowa (formerly of Odebolt) passed away peacefully April 20, 2026, at the Good Samaritan Society of Holstein, Iowa.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Odebolt, Iowa. Rev. David E. Cook will officiate. Committal Services will follow in the Odebolt Cemetery of Odebolt, Iowa.
A Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Odebolt, Iowa.
Left to cherish her memories include her children Rodney (Karla), Roy, and Helen. Charlotte was blessed with one grandchild and two great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored. She is also survived by her sister Kathleen (Chester) Creswell.

Funeral services for 90-year-old Ann Voggesser will be Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 11 AM at the United Presbyterian Church in Denison, Iowa. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 1, 2026, at 1PM at the Tarkio Home Cemetery in Tarkio, Missouri.
Ann passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa.
She is survived by her son David Mathias Voggesser (Kate North) of Sugar Grove, IL; daughter Nancy Voggesser of Denison, IA; step-grandson Daithi Brady (Ariana Buchholz); her grand dog Greta and grand cat Louise, her sister Jean Stevenson of Chesterfield, MO, sister-in-law Marge (Harold) Voggesser, and many nieces and nephews. Ann is preceded in death by Roy (2020); her parents; grand dogs Sexton and Sunshine, grand cats Sylvia, Sappho, Todd, Chester, Herkimer, and Shakespeare.

A Mass of Christian Burial for 63-year-old, Donna Joy Plattner, will be held on Saturday, April 25th at 10:30AM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Denison.
A burial will be held following the service at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Denison.
Donna passed away on March 26th.

Walter J. Woebke, age 103, of Ida Grove, Iowa, passed away on December 3, 2025, at the Willow Dale Wellness Village of Battle Creek.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 24, 2026, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Ida Grove, Iowa. Rev. Neil Wehmas will officiate. Committal Services will follow in the Morgan Township Cemetery of Schleswig, Iowa.
A Visitation will be held one-hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 24, 2026, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Ida Grove, Iowa.
Walter is survived by his son Donald Woebke of Evans, CO; daughter-in-law Kimberly Woebke of Ida Grove, IA; and his grandchildren: Darren (Lori) Woebke of Kansas City, MO, Chris (Jen) Woebke of Ida Grove, IA, Dorian (Boyd) Maxwell of Kansas City, MO, Stacy (Ron) Witter of Kingsley, IA, Megan (Zach) Montgomery of Ida Grove, IA, and Cody Woebke of Cherokee, IA.
He is also survived by great-grandchildren: Blake (Lexi), Autum (Anthony), Deandra (Chris), Caitlyn (Nathan), Dylan, Carter, Maia, and Camdyn; great-great-grandchildren: Liam, Lincoln, Scottie, Haisley, Averley, and a baby girl on the way.
Additional survivors include his sisters Alma Pogensee of Denison, IA and Betty Klink of Westside, IA; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Memorial Service for 77- year-old Curtis Butler of Dow City will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Fouts Funeral Home in Dunlap.
Visitation will be from 5:00 ~ 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday the 22nd at Fouts Funeral Home in Dunlap.
Burial will be at the Dow City Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Butler died on Wednesday, April 8th.

Robert passed away on Friday April 17th at his home in Arion.

Michael passed away at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital on April 6th.
He is survived by brother, Robert (Cindy) Scherff of Denison; nieces & nephews, Justin Scherff, his children Jackson, Grayson, & Kennedy; Kristin (Adam) Henry, their children Owen, Emma, & Wyatt; Brandon (Jenni) Scherff, their children Easton, Baylor, & Emmy Megan Scherff (fiancé Scotty Tigner); other family members & friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 8, at the St. Peter’s United Church of Christ of Mapleton. Committal services will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery of Mapleton. A Visitation will be held one hour prior from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., also on Wednesday, at the Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Martz of Charter Oak; daughter-in-law, Veta Myers of Missouri; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Bruce Ruchti of Mapleton, and Jeff (Candy) Ruchti of Oregon; sister, Deanna Lawson of Mapleton; sister-in-law, Deb Ruchti of Onawa; nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
