Judy Lingle
Lester “Les” Earl Goslar
A funeral service for 77 year old Lester “Les” Earl Goslar, of Mapleton, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 8, at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel in Onawa, with his son, Darren C. E. Goslar, officiating. A live stream of the service was posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website alongside Les’ obituary. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Goslar Family Chapel, with a heartfelt Prayer and Time of Sharing beginning at 7:30 P.M. to honor and reflect on Les’ life. A luncheon will follow at the Onawa Community Center in Onawa. Burial will take place at the family farm near Mapleton, with Military Honors provided by the United States Army and the Homer Hall American Legion Post #66 of Charter Oak.
Les passed away peacefully at his beloved farmhouse on Wednesday, July 2, surrounded by the love of his family.
Survivors include his devoted wife of fifty-five years, Donna Goslar of Mapleton; his children: Kevin (Jennifer) Goslar of Mapleton, Marshall (Erin Weber) Goslar of Mapleton, Lenora (Mike) Thurby of Colorado, Brock (Jamee) Goslar of Tennessee, and Darren (Sarah) Goslar of Onawa; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one on the way; one sister, Karen Bathke of Nebraska; two sisters-in-law, Victoria (Ben) Watkins of Tennessee and Jeanne Pulver Swenson of Omaha; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Arrangements were under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Diana Maulsby
Mass of Christian Burial for 73-year-old Diana Maulsby, of Rockwell City, formerly of Denison, will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday June 28th at St Anns Catholic Church in Vail.
Visitation with family greeting friends will be held on Saturday June 28th from 9:00 am until the funeral hour at the church.
Diana passed away on Thursday June 19th at Accura Healthcare in Carroll.
Survivors include children Matthew Maulsby, and Mandy Anderson; sisters Donna (Donavon) Sonnichsen of Denison, Lori (Steve) Magnuson of Denison, and Dorothy (Lonny) Popp of Denison; six grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Funeral services for 81 year old Judy Lee of Denison, formerly of Manning, will be held on Friday, June 27th at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Manning.
Visitation with the family will also be held on Friday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at the church. Burial will be at the Manning Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Judy passed on Saturday, June 21st at Gracewell Nursing Home in Denison.
Judy is survived by her children: Tom (Cindy) Lee of Nebraska, Susan (Terry) Zeman of Manilla, Shari (Chris) Cozad of Blair, Sara (Todd) Fiedler of Kentucky, and Sabrina Neil (Jamey Hinners) of Manning; son-in-law, Steven Kaye of Arizona; 15 grandchildren: Mara, Mason, Tara, Jamie, Bethany, Joshua, Jacob, Joseph, Elijah, Myriah, Amanda, Shelby, Carlee, Danielle, and Eric; 13 great grandchildren; three siblings: Sallee Reilly of South Dakota, Vicki Waterbury of Manning, and Steve (Linda) Atkins of Shellsburg; special friend, Russ Spies of Manning; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Funeral Service for 75 Vicky K. Murray, of Johnston (formerly of Holstein and Ida Grove) will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 20th at the Ida Grove Methodist Church. Committal Services will follow in the Ida Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 19th at the Christensen- Van Houten Funeral Home of Ida Grove.
Memorial contributions can be made in Vicky’s name to the Mapleton Vet Clinic or to her family in care of Roxanne Wilken.
Vicky passed away on Thursday, June 12th at the Bishop Drumm Retirement Center of Johnston.
Surviving family members include her aunt Josephine (Gaylord) Henderson of Havelock; cousins Roxanne Sones Wilken (Phil Falkoski) of Des Moines, John (Peggy) Sones of Laurens, Cindy (Duayne) Wieczorek of South Dakota, Calvin (Tracy) Cox and Chris (Sandy) Cox both of California; along with numerous second and third cousins; extended family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial for 87-year-old Anita Fouts of Woodbine will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 20th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Woodbine. Burial will be at the Woodbine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30 ~ 8:00 p.m. on Thursday with a rosary at 4:00 p.m. at Fouts Funeral Home in Woodbine.
Mrs. Fouts died at Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley, on June 16th.
Anita is survived by: Husband: Phil; Children: Debbie & Dave Moores of Woodbine, Brenda Ellison of Kansas, Chris & Kim Brouse of Council Bluffs, Paul & Beth Fouts of Woodbine, and Michelle & Ann Fouts-Reppun of California; Sisters: Bonnie & Dick Hawes of Okoboji, Jane & Dave Gardner of Minnesota; and Brother: Gene & Wendy Koski of Kansas.

Stan Mortensen
Stan Mortensen, age 71, of Wall Lake, passed away on May 27, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center of Des Moines.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wall Lake, Iowa, with Father Joseph Dillinger and Deacon Butch Stone officiating.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary held prior at 4:30 p.m., on Friday, June 13, 2025. Visitation will resume on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All services will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wall Lake, Iowa.
Survivors include wife Carolyn; children Mollie (Trent Auen) of Kiron, Sam of Wall Lake, Andy (Jodi) of Boyer, and Sara (Chris Rodman) of Wall Lake; grandchildren Tyler and Austin (fiancé Melina) Parmelee, Josh Mortensen, Ethan and Mia Mortensen, Emma, Izabelle, Sterling, and Lilly Rodman.
Other survivors include sisters Elizabeth (Terry) Johnson, Shirley (Chris) Williams, and Gloria (Roger) Huisenga; in-laws Sandi Grote, Keith (Deb) Fineran, Kenny (Sandie) Fineran, Bob (Leah) Fineran, and Randy (Pippa) Fineran; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and “SPECIAL” families (kids) he met along the way.

Donna Lorraine Stone
A Celebration of Life for 80 year old Donna Lorraine Stone will be held by the family on Saturday, June 14th at 11:00 A.M. at the Schleswig Community Building. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Iowa Lions Eye Bank, causes that were close to Donna’s heart.
Donna passed away peacefully on April 26, at Crawford County Memorial Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry Stone of Schleswig; children: Lisa (Ed) Lazarus of Louisiana, Jimmy Jr. Bargenquast of Louisiana, Janea (Brian) Martell of Minnesota, and Tina (Eric) Adams of Arizona; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Barnes of Harlan; brother, Jerry Whited of Deloit; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
