Funeral Service for 59-year-old Russell Mefferd of Battle Creek will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2023, at Fouts Funeral Home in Dunlap. Mr. Mefferd died as a result of an automobile accident, on October 26th.

Visitation for 45-year-old Nathan Mulligan of Omaha, formerly of Denison, will be held 9:00 - 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 11 at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison with a Graveside Service to follow at 10:30 AM at Oakland Cemetery in Denison. He passed away on May 3 at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison.
Survivors include his brother, John C. "JC" Mulligan of Denison; three aunts: Connie Mulligan of Deloit, San (Doug) Swanger of Le Mars; Shelli (Keith) Bebee of Luton; several cousins, other family members, and friends.

Funeral Services for Larry Groen, age 77 of Denison, formerly of Wall Lake, will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 11, at Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Wall Lake.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 AM.
Larry passed away on Saturday, May 6, in Grandview, MO.

Survivors include her daughter Joette (Dave) Peters of Carroll; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life for 32-year-old Dustin Pope of Schleswig will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, May 20 at Huebner Funeral Home in Denison with visitation two hours prior. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery in Kiron. He passed away Monday, May 15 at his home in Schleswig.
Survivors include his aunts: Kathy Pope Diersen and her husband Don of Kiron, Kristy Munden and her husband Jim of Nebraska, and Bonnie Harper and her husband Bill of Denison; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Kluver of Kiron; many other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial for Leo Joseph Hahn will be at the St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling on Monday, May 22nd at 10 am. Visitation will be at the church on Sunday, May 21st from 4 to 6 pm with a rosary starting at 6 pm at the church. Leo passed away at the Elm Crest Retirement Community on May 12th.
Survivors include son Mike Hahn of Earling; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters Marie Ohlinger of Nebraska, Margaret Pedeliski of North Dakota, and Rita Hahn of Council Bluffs; and brother John Hahn of Council Bluffs.

Kristi Sue Kenkel, age 54, of Glidden, passed away on Saturday, June 3, at her home in Glidden surrounded by her family.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 10, at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Carroll with Fr. Patrick Behm as celebrant. Burial will be in the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery in Glidden.
Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll from 5-7 P.M. on Friday evening. The casket will be moved to the St. Lawrence Catholic Church at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday where visitation will resume until 1:45 P.M. prior to the service.
