Daniel D. Miller
Services 87 year old Daniel D. Miller, of Manilla, will be held on May 24th, 2025, at St. Peters Catholic Church in Defiance at 11:00 a.m. with luncheon to follow at St. Peters Hall as well as a private family burial.
Daniel passed on Saturday November 30th in Texas.
Survivors include his partner, Sharon Fast; children Danny Miller of Manilla, Mary Harper of Walnut, step-daughters Jamie Fast of Jefferson, Patty Fast and family of Spirit Lake; son in law Jeff Peters of Colorado; sister Sheila Cline of Lohrville; brother Giles Miller of Des Moines; seven Grandchildren; two Step-grandchildren; six Great-Grandchildren and one more on the way; three step great-grandchildren.

Richard “Dick” Lorenzen
Funeral services for 92-year-old Richard “Dick” Lorenzen, of Deloit, will be held on Saturday, January 18th at 10:30 am at the Faith Lutheran Church in Deloit with burial in the Deloit Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 17th from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Denison.
Richard passed away on Sunday, January 12th at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn; children Sandy (Lewis) James of Omaha, Rick (Jodi) Lorenzen, and Wendy (Jeff) Frank; siblings Dorothy Dozler, Donald Nemitz, Mary (Ron) Zeimen, Brarbara (Donald) Kahl, and David (Janice) Memitz; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Mass of Christian Burial for 59 year old Diane (Rohe) Teno, of Norwalk, formerly of Manning, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 17, at the Sacred Heart Church in Manning. Burial will take place in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manning.
Diane is survived by her husband, Kevin; daughter, Kenzie Teno of West Des Moines and son, Brandon (Sadie) Teno of New Virginia; two sisters, Mary Lou (Steve) Wieland of Westside and Doris Erlbacher of Dow City; two brothers, Keith Rohe of Templeton and Kenny Rohe of Manning; sister-in-law, Mary Rohe of Manning; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Mass of Christian Burial for 65-year-old Roger Sullivan of Dunlap will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27th at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Dunlap. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Dunlap. Visitation will be from 4:00 ~ 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the St Patrick Parish Center in Dunlap.
Mr. Sullivan died at him home outside of Dunlap, on December 21st.
Survivors include Daughter: Josie Mefferd of Council Bluffs; Siblings: Bart and Lisa Sullivan, Joe and Beth Sullivan, Dave Sullivan, John and Dede Sullivan all of Dunlap, Dan Sullivan of Texas, and Jean and Wayne Beam of Ankeny.

Funeral Services for 86-year-old Mary Slater of Denison will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 19 at the Huebner Funeral home in Denison with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Crawford Heights Memory Gardens in Denison. She passed away Thursday, December 12 at her home in Denison.
Survivors include her children: Cheryl (Roger) Upton of Manilla, Kenneth Slater and Marty Slater, both of Denison, and Sandy Schiltz of Denison; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn (Dwayne) Freerking of Lincoln; daughter-in-law, Ann Slater; many extended family members and friends.
