Mass of Christian Burial for 92 year old Vera Moeller will be held on Friday January 30th at 11:00 am at the St Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Denison. A rosary will start at 9:00 am at the church with visitation leading up to the service time. Burial will be in the St Rose of Lima Cemetery.
Vera passed away on Wednesday January 21st at her home in Denison.
She is survived by husband Darrell; children Stan (Cindy) Moeller of Hull, Cindy (Paul) Dapra of Wyoming, Todd (Tammy) Moeller of Denison, Dan Moeller of Denison, Tim (Christine) Moeller of Omaha, and Julie (Richie) Wingfield of Malvern; 11 grandchildren; & nine great grandchildren.

Jolene Marie Stoelk, age 70, of Westside, IA, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Mercy One Hospital in Des Moines, IA, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Zion Lutheran Church in Arcadia with Pastor Andrew Noble officiating. Music will be by Ann Whitaker. Casket bearers will be her nephews: Kurt Miller, Ryan Miller, Troy Stoelk, Marty Stoelk, Aaron Schwanz, and Danny Petersen. Honorary casket bearers will be the Zion Lutheran Ladies Aide Circle, Diane Berger, Linda Berger and Jolene Berger. Burial will be in the Westside Cemetery in Westside.
Visitation will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church in Arcadia from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. The casket will be moved to the church Wednesday morning where visitation will resume from 9:30 A.M. until 10:15 A.M prior to the service.
Jolene is survived by her husband Mark Stoelk of Westside, IA; son Randy Stoelk (Lisa) of Westside; Kim Cleveland of Westside; grandchildren: Garrett Cleveland (Lex) of Ankeny, Kalon Cleveland of Ankeny, Kyelar Cleveland of Ankeny, Jax Cleveland of Westside; Tyler Stoelk of Breda, Kate Stoelk, Mallory Stoelk, and Will Stoelk all of Westside; step-grandchildren: Chance Cleveland (Breely) of Carroll and their son Micah, Eli Cleveland and special friend Abby Danner of Carroll; brother Dale Petersen of Vail; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Ken Loneman of Altoona; Ewing Miller of Clinton, Carol Lynn Stoelk of Carroll, Carletta Brown of Lake View, and Carman Schwanz (Eugene) of Wall Lake; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll.

Madelyn Huelsing, 93, of Denison and formerly of Maple River, died Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, at St. Ann’s Church in Vail with burial in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Mount Carmel.
A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. The casket will be moved to St. Ann’s Church at 9:15 a.m. Friday morning where visitation will resume until the time of the funeral mass.

A Funeral Service 86 year old Juliann Christie, of Schleswig, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 19, at the United Church of Christ in Schleswig. Committal Services will follow in the Morgan Township Cemetery in Schleswig.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 18, at the United Church of Christ in Schleswig.
Julie passed away on Wednesday, January 14, at the Denison Care Center of Denison.
Left to carry on her memory are her children Kevin (Peggy) Christie of Ida Grove, Kirk Christie of Slater, and Keith (Amy) Christie of Council Bluffs; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five bonus grandchildren; six bonus great-grandchildren; one bonus great-great grandchild; nephew Mark (Barb) Evers; and my “special girls & boys”: Tia, Tessa, Tanna, Kamryn, Lacey, Amelia, Elliot and Royce; extended family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Christoffersen of Urbandale and Carol (Kevin) Forshier of Redfield; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Tom (Sally) Holmes of Wisconsin; sisters-in- law, Sylvia Christoffersen of Exira and Ardyce Lee of Colorado.

Janet passed away on December 26th at the Myrtue Medical Center.

He is survived by his brothers: Curt Grimm of Aspinwall, Bruce (Mary) Grimm of Manning; sister, Connie (Dan) Brasel of Dunlap; many nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.
