Softball- MVAOCOU improves to 3-0 with doubleheader sweep of Western Christian

MAPLETON~ MVAOCOU played host to Western Christian in doubleheader softball action on Wednesday. In game one, a three-run fourth inning propelled a 7-3 win (2-0) for the Rams as MaKenna Meseck went 2-2 with two RBI's. Brynn Jacobson got the win on the circle going four innings, allowing two runs and one strikeout.

In game two the Rams exploded for 10 runs in the first inning and snagged two more runs on back-to-back home runs from Ava Kovarna (1st) and Brylei Clauson (2nd of game) to end the game 12-0 (3-0) in three innings. Brylei Clauson went 3-3 with two home runs, Ava Kovarna went 3-3 with a home run and two RBI's and Reagan Seuntjens got the win pitching going three innings, five strikeouts and only one hit allowed.
