Monarchs girls soccer team awards
Earkier this week, the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs girls soccer team had their final banquet to wrap up the season. Multiple Monarchs were elected on the Hawkeye 10 All-Conference team. First team players included Sam Chandler & Janet Castillo. Second team saw Jimena Lupian make the team and Aremy Santos, Xochi Arellano, and Estella Lupian all recived honorable mention honors.
Team awards were also given out with Sam Chandler and Estella Lupian sharing the MVP award. Offensive player of the year was given to Aremy Santos and Libby Leon, with Janet Castillo, Xochi Arellano, and Jimena Lupian sharing the defesnive player of the year award.
Angela Cruz and Estella Lupian were also recognized on the academic Hawkeye 10 All-Conference team.
