Iowa State quarterback Rocco Becht previews Houston
Iowa State quarterback Rocco Becht says the Cyclones are focused on their Big 12 opener and not the big picture. With a 3-0 record and a number 18 national ranking the Cyclones are considered an early contender for the new expanded college football playoff. They are a nearly two touchdown favorite heading into their league opener at 1-3 Houston. Becht says the Cougars showed their potential in a near upset of Oklahoma on the road. Becht says the Houston defense makes it a priority to create turnovers. Becht says the Cyclone running game made a lot of progress during nonconference play.
