No. 23 Iowa women visit Illinois Thursday night
Two teams looking to stay in the top half of a rugged Big Ten race meet on Thursday night when the 23rd ranked Iowa Hawkeye women visit Illinois. The Hawkeyes are 12-3 overall as they get set for the second half of the regular season. The Hawkeyes played their worst half of the season on Sunday in falling behind eighth-ranked Maryland by 25 points before rallying to make a game of it. The Hawkeyes are 2-2 in the Big Ten while the Illini are 1-3. The Challenge for the Hawkeyes will be slowing down Illinois forward Kendall Bostic. She averages more than 15-and-a-half points and more than 11 rebounds per game.
