Iowa women stun No. 4 USC
On the day Iowa retired the jersey of Caitlin Clark, the Hawkeyes stunned fourth-ranked USC. Lucy Olsen scored 28 points and the Hawkeyes rallied from six points down in the third quarter for a 76-69 win. Olsen had 23 of her points in the second half. The Hawkeyes raced out to a 19-point second-quarter lead before USC rallied. Despite holding USC to 8-of-32 shooting in the opening half Hawkeye coach Jan Jensen went to zone in the third quarter. It was a big win for an Iowa team that is now 5-6 in the Big Ten and 15-7 overall.
