Iowa silent on status of injured QB Mark Gronowski
Mums the word at Iowa on the status of starting quarterback Mark Gronowski. He suffered a knee injury in the fourth quarter of Saturday's 20-15 loss to 11th-ranked Indiana. With Gronowski sidelined, Hank Brown finished the game against the Hoosiers. Lester hopes receiver Reece Vander Zee will be back when the Hawkeyes visit Wisconsin a week from Saturday. He has been out since suffering a foot injury prior to the season opener. Lester is hopeful that Gronowski will return, but the bye week gives them a chance to work with Brown and Wake Forest transfer Jeremy Hecklinski.
