Iowa State men close exhibition play with an 80-72 win over Northwestern
The Iowa State men's basketball team closed out exhibition play with an 80-72 win over Northwestern. Senior guard Nate Heise led the Cyclones with 19 points, including five of seven from three-point range. Iowa State coach T.J. Otzelberger feels the exhibition games against the Wildcats and Creighton were good tests. The Cyclones open the regular season a week from Monday night against Fairleigh Dickinson.
