Northern Iowa women win at Drake 66-56
The Northern Iowa women took command with a 20-3 run in the second half and won at Drake 66-56. The Panthers improve to 7-4 in Missouri Valley play. The Bulldogs led by nine in the third quarter before the Panthers turned the game around. For Warren, it was the 350th victory of her career. UNI senior forward Ryley Goebel had a triple-double with 18 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 blocked shots. Drake coach Allison Pohlman felt the Panthers wore her team down. Drake shot only 34 percent, and Pohlman says Goebel's play was a big factor.
