Denison-Schleswig claims second State title for boys bowling

The Denison-Schleswig Monarchs have claimed the 2A State Championship for boys bowling!

Denison-Schleswig swept their way through prelim competitions with a team score of 3242, and the top finish locked their place in the winners bracket.

In the semifinal matchup, the Monarchs would defeat Central Dewitt with scores of 278-234-22 to Central Dewitt's 177-169-192.

The Monarchs would then meet ADM in the final and the Monarchs would bowl scores of 204-198-220 to ADM's 163-171-173 to claim the school's second state title for bowling.

KDSN talked to newly crowned State Champion head coach Darren Bruck to talk about the celebration.
