Drake men suffer eighth straight loss
J.T. Pettigrew's three-pointer with two seconds remaining lifted Valparaiso to a 74-71 win over Drake. The Bulldogs missed seven of their final eight shots and had two crucial turnovers in the final minute in suffering their eighth straight loss. It was the latest in a string of losses in which the Bulldogs crumbled at crunch time. Drake is now 6-13 in the Valley.
