State Champion Bowler Gavin Schmadeke joins brother at Morningside
On Friday, Denison-Schleswig Senior Gavin Schmadeke signed his letter of intent to continue his academic and bowling career at Morningside University in Sioux City, IA.
Gavin will join his brother Christian Schmadeke (Denison-Schleswig alum) who wrapped up his Junior bowling season for the Mustangs. Gavin closed out his Monarch career helping lead the team to the Class 2A State title in February.
Gavin plans to study elementary education and on top of bowling, Gavin will also partake in the University's mens choir program.
KDSN was at Gavin's signing day talking about his decison, playing with his brother, and the impact he's made for the Monarchs bowling program.
