The Monarchs battled into 9 innings before falling to Storm Lake 2-1, finishing the season with a 15-18 record.

 

Kastner Seed Hoegemeyer Hitter of the Game: Grace Collins, who collected 2 hits and scored the Monarchs’ lone run in the top of the first inning.

 

Pizza Ranch Delivery of the Game: Freshman Addison Francois, who was outstanding in the circle, pitching all 9 innings, striking out 14 and walking none.

 

Other Monarch hits came from Rylan Ipsen, Ann Wessel, and Isabelle Blume, who doubled. Emily Gehlsen drove in Denison’s only run with an RBI.
