2026 Fall Sports Preview: West Monona Football

The West Monona Spartans look to make bigger strides in year two under the Bud Pash & Jeremy Bellis regime. Last year, the Spartans finished 2-7 but made improvements throughout the season, including back-to-back wins in the second half of the season.

Tony Ignacio-Garcia expects to lead the backfield this season after flashes in his sophomore year average 4.4 yards per carry. The Spartans will lean on their defense this year, led by junior Miah Purgett with 4 INTs and 42 tackles last season.
