These students are from a variety of trades from construction to carpentry who work with Sam Ellis with Denison Parks & Rec and the City of Denison, Iowa getting volunteer hours thanks to their partnership with Denison Job Corps to help around the community. This shelter house was built by actual Job Corps students in 1981 so they were excited to do maintenance on it as it was falling into disrepair in recent years.
