The IKM-Manning School District Purchased Old St Anthony Clinic For New Alternative HS Program
(Carroll Broadcasting) The IKM-Manning School District has recently purchased the old St. Anthony Clinic in Manning to serve as the district’s new location for an alternative high school program. The building at 221 Ann St. will be utilized to create a program for high school students who find a traditional class setting challenging. Superintendent Dr. Angela Huseman says that while the district is just taking possession of the building, she is very hopeful and excited to have this initiative offered to IKM-Manning students.
The alternative educational program is designed to offer a more personalized learning environment, with a focus on smaller class sizes, individualized attention, and customized support. Superintendent Huseman says that the district is actively seeking a part-time facilitator for the program.
Individuals interested in applying for the position can check the IKM-Manning website under the employment tab. The alternative program will only be open to high school students, with students and their families filling out an application and being accepted by the district’s administrators. The new alternative program will be offered this upcoming school year if the position is filled. Anyone with any questions can contact Huseman or High School Principal Nolan Shanks at the contact points included below.
