Vandalism at Riverview Park Leads to Multiple Charges in Sac City
SAC CITY, IA — On November 27, 2024, the Sac City Police Department responded to a report of vandalism at Riverview (Lions) Park. Several trees in the park were found defaced with red and black spray paint, resulting in an estimated $3,500 worth of damage.
Following an investigation, the police charged four individuals in connection with the incident. Kali Huegerich, Rylee Pearl, Tarissa Shull, and Damien Briner, all of Sac City, were each charged with Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree, a Class D felony.
The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed as the case progresses.
As per standard legal procedure, all individuals charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Authorities continue to urge anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
