Charter Oak Seeking Mayor and Council Candidates for November Election
The City of Charter Oak is seeking candidates to run for mayor and three city council seats in the upcoming November 4, 2025, election.
Open positions include a two-year term for mayor, two four-year terms for city council, and one two-year term for city council.
Those interested can pick up nomination papers in the lobby at Charter Oak City Hall, located at 453 Railroad Street, or online at iowa.gov under the city elections section. Completed affidavits of candidacy and nomination papers must be submitted to the Crawford County Auditor by 5 p.m. on September 18, 2025.
