WOODBINE, Iowa — Students and staff at Woodbine Community School District are enjoying new and improved dining choices this school year, thanks to recent updates to the district’s food service program.
The upgrades include a fresh fruit and salad bar, featuring a variety of produce, and a transition to meals prepared without artificial colors. In addition, the school is now serving locally sourced beef, providing both nutritional benefits and community support for area producers.
District leaders credit the Dining Staff and the Food Service Committee for bringing the changes to life. School officials say the updates have already been a big hit among students and staff, reinforcing Woodbine’s commitment to offering healthier, high-quality meals.
