Charter Oak-Ute Schools Hosting Clothing Drive for Family in Need

The Charter Oak-Ute School District community is rallying together after learning that a local family lost their home over the weekend. In response, the COU Student Council has organized a clothing drive to help provide immediate assistance and support.

Donations of gently used or new clothing in the following sizes are being requested to help the family get back on their feet:

  • Women – Adults: 2XL clothing, shoe sizes 9 and 9.5, winter clothing

  • Men – Adults: XL and M shirts, pants sizes 33x32 and 29x32, winter clothing

  • Middle School Age Boy: L men’s shirts, 34x36 pants, size 12.5 shoes, winter clothing

  • Elementary Age Girl: S/M women’s shirts, women’s pants size 8 (shorter build), shoe size 6–7, winter clothing

  • Baby/Toddler: 18M clothing, toddler shoe size 6/7, 5T diapers, winter clothing

The school encourages anyone who is able to donate to drop off items at the school office or contact the COU Student Council for arrangements.

The district expressed gratitude for the continued outpouring of compassion and generosity from the community, emphasizing that every contribution—big or small—will make a difference for this family as they begin to rebuild.
