Denison Jazz One Earns Top-10 Finish at Iowa Jazz Championships
The Denison High School Jazz One band delivered a strong performance at the Iowa Jazz Championships held in Ames, earning a top-10 finish among some of the state’s best ensembles.
Competing in Class 3A against a field of 15 schools, Denison placed 8th overall, securing a spot among the top 10 jazz bands in Iowa. The result highlights the continued strength of the Monarch music program and its ability to compete at a high level statewide.
